Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
1What you pay today
Nothing. The prices on our pricing page are what plans will cost when billing opens; they are not charged now, and creating a workspace today does not ask you for a payment method. Once billing opens, a new workspace will add a card at signup to start its 14-day free trial, with nothing charged until the trial ends; workspaces created during the beta get a fresh 14-day trial then and choose a plan in Settings → Billing. We will tell you by email before any of this affects you, and you will have to agree to it rather than drift into it.
2Who takes the payment when billing opens
Paid plans will be sold through Link, Stripe's merchant-of-record service. Link is the seller of each payment: it takes the payment on its hosted checkout, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies where you are, sends your receipts and invoices, and handles payment questions and disputes. Your contract for the Flowtiq service itself stays with us, under the Terms of Service. Your card details go to Link and Stripe, and we never see or store them. Card statements show LINK.COM* followed by our name, and checkout may show the price converted to your local currency. A refund we approve is issued through Link back to the card or account you paid from.
Link's own support can also review a payment and, under its buyer policies, may refund it within 60 days of the charge.
3Our refund position
We offer the refunds the law gives you, and no voluntary refund policy on top of them. That is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight, and it only works because you can see the whole product before you pay: every plan begins with a free trial of the complete app, and nothing is charged until that trial ends.
- Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. No charge is taken and no refund is needed.
- Cancel during a paid period and the subscription stops renewing. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a month or a year.
- Annual plans work the same way: access runs to the end of the year you bought, with no pro-rata refund of the remainder.
- Unused AI actions are not refundable and do not carry over. The monthly allowance resets on the first of each calendar month.
4The rights you keep regardless
Nothing in this policy removes a right you have by law, and where the two disagree the law wins.
- Consumers in the UK and EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts. Digital services are an area where that right can be waived by asking for immediate access, but if it applies to you, you keep it and we will honour it.
- A service that is not as described is a different matter from changing your mind. If Flowtiq does not do what we said it does, tell us: we will fix it, and where we cannot, we will refund you for the period affected.
- A payment you did not authorise, or a duplicate charge, is refunded in full. Tell us and we will not argue about it.
- If we close your workspace for a reason that is not your breach of the Terms of Service, we refund the unused part of what you paid.
5How to cancel
Cancellation will be in Settings → Billing, the same place you subscribe, and takes the same number of clicks: it opens Stripe's customer portal, where you can also update your card and see past invoices. We do not make you email us to leave, sit through a retention interview, or call anyone. Until billing opens, deleting your workspace from Settings is the whole of it.
What cancelling does to your data
Cancelling ends the subscription; it does not delete your workspace. You keep access until the paid period ends; after that the workspace pauses — Settings stays available so you can choose a plan again, export your data or delete the workspace — and nothing is deleted because of the pause. Delete it yourself from Settings at any time.
6How to ask for a refund
Email contact@flowtiq.ai from the address on the account, and tell us what happened. You do not need a form or a reference number. We answer within one business day, and where we approve a refund we issue it through Stripe to your original payment method; it usually arrives within five to ten business days depending on your bank.
If we say no, we will tell you why in plain words and point you at the clause we are relying on. If you disagree you can still go to your card issuer or, as a consumer, to the dispute body in your own country.
7Changes to this policy
We may update this page as billing goes live and as the product changes. A change never applies backwards to a payment you have already made, and material changes get notice by email or in the app before they take effect.
