Terms of Service

Draft, pending legal review

This document is a working draft. It is published early for transparency while it goes through legal review, and it is not yet binding. Highlighted TODO markers are details only Flowtiq's owners can supply. We will replace this notice with the reviewed version and update the date above.

1Who you are agreeing with

Flowtiq ("Flowtiq", "we", "us") is operated by TODO: registered legal entity name, registered at TODO: registered business address. These terms form the agreement between you and that entity, and they govern flowtiq.ai and the Flowtiq application. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.

2What Flowtiq does

Flowtiq is one workspace covering tasks, a CRM (contacts, deals, pipelines), invoicing, an email hub, social publishing, a calendar, and time tracking, with an AI assistant that reads your workspace to answer questions and draft things for you.

Your records live in a workspace you own. Everyone you invite holds a role of owner, admin, or member, and that role decides what they can see and change. Flowtiq is in beta: features change, and some integrations still depend on approval from the platform they connect to.

3Your account

You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google. Keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for the people you invite into your workspace. Give us accurate details and keep them current.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. TODO: confirm the minimum age required in the governing jurisdiction

4Connecting your other accounts

Several features only work once you connect an outside account. You choose which ones, at the provider's own consent screen, and you can disconnect any of them at any time from Settings.

  • Google grants Flowtiq permission to read and send mail from your Gmail account and to read and write events in your Google Calendar. Flowtiq syncs your recent mail into your workspace, and follow-ups and invoices are sent from your own address, so replies reach your inbox and a copy sits in your Sent folder.
  • LinkedIn grants permission to publish posts as you.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) grants permission to list your Pages, read their engagement figures, and publish posts to a Page or a connected Instagram business account.

Sending email requires a connected Google account: there is no fallback sender. When you connect an account you also remain bound by that platform's own terms, and you are responsible for what you send or publish through it. The resulting access tokens are stored encrypted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5AI features

The assistant, the deal coach, contact enrichment, follow-up drafts, brand analysis, and social post generation are all AI-generated. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Read anything the AI writes before you send it, and never treat it as legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Decisions you take on its output are yours.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI actions shared across everyone in the workspace. We may pause AI features for a workspace that has used up its allowance, and we may change which underlying model powers a feature.

6Acceptable use

Do not use Flowtiq to:

  • send unsolicited bulk email, spam, or anything deceptive through a connected mailbox;
  • store or process personal data you have no lawful basis to hold;
  • break the terms or rate limits of Google, LinkedIn, or Meta;
  • work around seat limits or AI allowances, share one login between several people, or resell access;
  • probe, scan, or attack the service, or attempt to reach another workspace's data;
  • copy, decompile, or reverse-engineer the software, or use it to build a competing product;
  • upload malware or unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.

We may suspend a workspace immediately where continuing would put other customers, our providers, or us at risk.

7Your content stays yours

Everything you put into Flowtiq remains yours. You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store, process, transmit, back up, and display your content, and to pass the parts described in the Privacy Policy to the providers named there.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we are on a platform plan chosen specifically because it carries the same commitment.

You are responsible for the contact, email, and invoice data you bring in, including having a lawful basis to hold it.

8Plans, trial, and payment

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The plan, seat count, AI allowance, price, and billing period that apply to you are the ones shown at checkout and on our pricing page when you subscribe; those details form part of these terms. Seats are fixed per plan, so adding people means moving up a plan.

Payments are collected by Paddle acting as merchant of record: Paddle takes the payment, issues your receipt, and handles sales tax and VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. Prices exclude tax unless we say otherwise.

TODO: confirm whether a card is required to start the trial, and what happens when it ends

TODO: confirm the refund policy and any statutory cooling-off period that applies

9Cancelling, suspension, and termination

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. We do not refund part-periods unless the law requires it.

We may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or for non-payment after we have asked you to put it right. Export anything you need before you close a workspace.

TODO: confirm the notice period before suspension and the grace window before data is deleted

10Availability and changes to the service

Flowtiq is in beta and comes without an uptime commitment. We may add, change, or remove features; where a change materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect.

Features that depend on Google, LinkedIn, or Meta can break or disappear when those platforms change their rules, and some of them require platform approval that is still in progress.

11Intellectual property

The Flowtiq software, name, mark, and design belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while you are subscribed, and nothing more. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may act on them without owing you anything.

12Services we depend on

Flowtiq runs on and connects to services we do not control: Supabase, Cloudflare, Lovable, Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and Paddle. Their outages, changes, and terms affect what Flowtiq can do. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions, and your use of a connected platform stays governed by that platform's own agreement with you.

13Disclaimers

Flowtiq is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and none that AI output will be accurate. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

14Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability for all claims is capped at TODO: confirm the liability cap, for example the fees paid in the previous 12 months.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

15Indemnity

You will cover us against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of a connected account, or your breach of these terms.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use Flowtiq afterwards means you accept the new version. The date at the top always shows the version in force.

17Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of TODO: governing jurisdiction, and the courts of TODO: venue for disputes have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove rights you have under the law of the country you live in.

Before starting a formal claim, email us. Most things are faster to fix that way.
